Dec. 18, 2012—Hello one, hello all! It has been a long time since I've posted. Not that I haven't been blogging... it was just a matter of actually publishing my drafts. Ah, well, now that this semester's over and I'm still at Vanderbilt, let me fill you in on a few things and explain why I'm still in warm-weather Nashville.
And away we go!
Aug. 21, 2012—After the summer flew by, my first week back at Vandy flew right behind it, as well. Between two music organizations, a Mayfield, moving in, and friends, I was occupied the entire week, and school starts tomorrow!

Jul. 1, 2012—Boston! Serving at Starlight Ministries, going on a non-kayaking extravaganza, going to Costco, and more fun things!
Not going home, yet! Hoorah, a job!
May. 2, 2012—Well, here I am, in my room, and I have an exciting week ahead of me on campus, despite that classes and exams are done.

Mayfield-Cooked Easter Dinner
Apr. 8, 2012—Let me start this post by saying I’m a terrible cook. If food requires more than a few minutes in the microwave, I usually consider it out of my league. However, under the careful direction of my friend Nikki, I helped cook a three-course Easter dinner last night!

Valentine’s Day!
Feb. 15, 2012—I was about to type that I’d had too much chocolate yesterday, but then I realized that’s not possible. Either way, I probably ate an unhealthy amount of chocolate because it was Valentine’s Day! Come on, all the sugar, chocolate, and baked goods are one of the best parts of the day.
The Wonders of Skype
Dec. 6, 2011—For those of you curious, you can stay involved on campus while you are abroad. Obviously, you cannot reach the same extent of involvement, and it greatly relies on your ability to deal with time differences, but it is very possible and rewarding!
Mayfield Showcase
Dec. 1, 2011—As I’ve mentioned a few times before, I live in a Mayfield, which is like a small two-story house with ten people who each have their own room, share two bathrooms, a common room, and a kitchenette.
