VPB is an umbrella organization of smaller committees such as Homecoming, Speakers Committee, CityVU, The Music Group, The VenUe, and Vandy Fanatics. This past week, I attended a Speakers...

One Less Problem (With the Quake Lineup)

Jul. 9, 2014—I don’t know about you guys, but where I went to high school, homecoming was a lot of the things — stressful, overblown, anxiety-inducing — a lot of things, but usually not very fun. Campus Events!

Feb. 16, 2014—When I was a freshman, I loved going to the events that Vanderbilt sponsored. As an upperclassman, I have less time to go to these because I'm busier, working, and have greater access to off campus events. That means that I enjoy them all the more, though! Last weekend, I got to go to two such events--Casino night sponsored by the Vanderbilt Programming Board, and movie of the month from the Student Government...

Winter is Coming!

Nov. 10, 2013—This popular slogan often associated with Game of Thrones was turned into the title of an awesome VPB event that took place this past Friday night! The event was hosted by VenUe, which is the late-night alternative program committee. They converted the Student Life Center into a winter carnival.
