Social Media Loves Me
Aug. 18, 2014—Boy, was it fun moving in all the first-years at Commons on Saturday, though I'm sniffing a bit because that was my last time helping to move-in the freshies.
Beach Week, 2k14
May. 8, 2014—Yesterday I returned home from a few blissful days with my most wonderful friends at Panama City Beach. Beach week is a tradition many Vanderbilt seniors take part in-- there's a few days in which we are finished with finals and we desperately want to ignore the fact we are graduating from Vanderbilt and so we escape to sea, sand, and sun to enjoy a bit of calm before the storm.
Final Traditions
May. 6, 2014—As I mentioned in a previous post (better late than never, right?) second semester holds quite a few of my favorite Vanderbilt traditions. Two that I haven't talked about yet are Rites of Spring and the annual Black and Gold game!!
‘s the 30 Day Countdown…
Apr. 9, 2014—Right. 30 days until Commencement. I honestly cannot fathom how it's time for that already.
Vandy Arts!
Mar. 31, 2014—This semester has been an awesome example of how Vanderbilt keeps its students in touch with up-to-date professionals in their field, particularly in the arts! This year they brought in many new features that I have been able to work with, and I wanted to share some of those stories with y'all!
Mark your calendars, Spring has begun!
Mar. 12, 2014—Every spring semester here at Vandy, there is one day that stands out as undoubtedly the first beautiful day. That day was yesterday… Mark your calendars, March 11, Spring has officially begun at Vandy!
Commons Ball
Feb. 8, 2014—Last night, I went on a magical journey to Hogwarts for the Yule Ball. The best part about the Yule Ball was that it was right on Vanderbilt’s campus!
Family Vacation to Arizona!
Dec. 31, 2013—After arriving home from AWB, I had about two days to settle in Alabama before I was en route to my next destination: Arizona.
A Very Suite Christmas
Dec. 14, 2013—Even though our suite isn't necessarily our home for the holidays, we decided to dress it up with some wintry cheer to get us through finals. Because I'm all about lists and decorating tips, I thought I'd give you some easy dorm decoration tips for the holiday season. If you're not living in a dorm yet, you can already get started on some advanced brainstorming!
Man-I’ve-Been-Bad-at-Pacing-These-This-Semester Monday, Part 2
Dec. 9, 2013—While I’m gearing up for finals this week (wish me luck!), I’ve also been gearing up for the holidays. The result is my newest masterpiece, “Twas the Week of Vandy Exams."
