I’ve Always Wanted an Older Sister: Sigma Phi Lambda, the Christian Sorority!
Mar. 8, 2016—Ten minutes before the introduction to Phi Lamb, I walked determinedly across the Vandy bridge and promised myself I wouldn't say yes. And then they asked if I wanted to join, and well, they were just too wonderful. And now I'm so, so happy to say that I'm a Lamb!!! Read on for why Phi Lamb!

The Happiest Student at Vanderbilt: Random Things I’ve Done at Vandy (Christmas Edition!)
Dec. 23, 2015—Thus ends the first semester of my freshman year. I was my high school valedictorian and I failed three tests. I’m so completely ungraceful that I opened a door once and fell over; I learned to swing dance. I would have described myself as an “introvert” before coming to college; I’ve discovered I LOVE people.
The Weird, Short Few Weeks Between Thanksgiving and Winter Break
Dec. 1, 2015—Just as we get settled back in, we leave again. But even in the campus chaos that is the time between breaks, I can’t help but be thankful (maybe it’s the contagious holiday spirit, or maybe it’s the fact that Vanderbilt is just literally my favorite place on Earth).
My Month in Ecuador (thank you Vandy!)
Nov. 8, 2015—This summer I went to Ecuador for a month, thanks to a program in Vandy's OACS (Office of Active Citizenship and Service). This program taught me more than I could have asked for. We had a reunion dinner to reflect on our experience, and I was asked to write a speech. Here it is!

Colleges love to talk about how involved their...
Kenya Dig It?
Nov. 6, 2015—Get it? "Kenya" as in "Can you dig it?" Organizations with puns in their name are my favorite, including this one!
Dance Dance Dance
Oct. 11, 2015—All I've been doing lately is dancing. And I couldn't be happier.

I Kinda Like Mondays (Sometimes)
Mar. 23, 2015—There are four more weeks of class left in my first year at Vanderbilt. Wait, what? I guess it shouldn’t have caught me off guard, considering the fact that pretty much every adult I ever meet tells me that college will be the fastest four years of my life. Still, it’s hard to believe that...
Animal Lovin’ at Vandy
Jan. 29, 2015—One of the hardest parts about leaving home was saying goodbye to my dogs Tommy and Sophie. Tommy is in doggie heaven right now, probably chasing squirrels. So, my golden retriever Sophie is the only sibling I have left. Needless to say, meeting her at an interval of five months is one of the downsides...
