Hanging out* with Hunter Hayes
Jun. 23, 2013—My fellow folks at Inside ‘Dores have been posting all about music lately, and as someone who isn’t terribly opposed to the bandwagon, what better time than now to hop on for the ride.
Back in the Nash
Jun. 12, 2013—After a relaxing month in Naples, I was ready to get back into the swing of something–and that something happens to be Nashville! This is the first summer I’ve gone back to the city, and I’m so excited to share with you all what I’m doing while here! First off, as Caitlyn mentioned, we’re roomies...
Country Music City
May. 24, 2013—My name is Priyanka Aribindi, and I am a recovering Nashville junkie. Twenty-four days away from the perpetual sunshine and barbeque-tinged air feels like much too much, but lucky for me, my home away from home and I will be reunited once again in no time at all. While in the grand scheme of life/time/eternity,...
The Write Stuff
Apr. 15, 2013—Before I admit that this super creative title was actually stolen from the company that made school supply packs for my elementary school, I have to apologize for not getting anything up here in a while. I’ve been SUPER busy with a whole bunch of things, including, but not limited to: doing my Econ homework,...
The Land of the (Semi) Free
Mar. 21, 2013—To-do lists in college are double edged sword. Here's what I do and where I go when I feel like ignoring mine for a few hours.
Getting my Kicks in Semester Six…
Jan. 15, 2013—All right, I admit, the title’s a stretch. Feel free to comment with something better. But I had to keep the tradition alive. And sure, this isn’t quite a preview since I’ve already had a full week of class–but while I’ve had a full week of class, you have no idea what I’m up to!...
‘Dores!
Jan. 7, 2013—I was tipped off about Inside ‘Dores halfway through my freshman year at Vanderbilt. A friend of mine who wrote for the blog at the time said the Admissions office was looking for people to write about their experiences at school. Sure, thought I, people would love to read about my life! Whether or not...
It’s All Over. How I Survived Finals.
Dec. 13, 2012—Today, I am coming to you from my kitchen table in warm and sunny Miami Beach. I'm sorry to brag, but nothing compares to the euphoria of finishing finals each semester. If I'm being honest, here, I will say that this semester my finals weren't actually that bad. But either way, finals are finals and I lived to tell the tale.
Catch-Up with Nathan and Victoria: Part VIII
Dec. 9, 2012—Today's topic? This catch-up chronicle will capture the great gaggle of group projects I poured over in this stellar semester. Ah yes, this semester I conquered (well, I'm still in the process of conquering one of them) not one, not two, but THREE intensive group projects--and I have lived to tell the tale.
My Fall Schedule
Aug. 27, 2012—As the drop/ add period is finally coming to a close, my schedule is officially set. I am currently enrolled in fifteen hours and ZERO labs. This is a first for me, so I am actually planning on using my free afternoons researching in a lab in the medical center (more on that, later).
What will arrive in semester five…
Aug. 21, 2012—By the end of the day tomorrow, I will have completed more of my undergraduate schooling than I have left. That’s a scary thought. Thankfully, there’s a whole lot of excitement and awesomeness that’s going to be packed into these next two years. Here’s a little sneak peek of my classes for the upcoming semester,...
