My daughter has applied, but it says incomplete on school report and Vanderbilt school of choice. We do not understand what these are. Please help

Hi, thanks for the question. The School Report is a form that is sent electronically to an applicant’s guidance counselor when you input that counselor’s email address in your portion of the Common Application. If the counselor has not received the form, check to be sure that it was entered correctly. The Vanderbilt School of Choice form let’s us know which of Vanderbilt’s undergraduate schools you are applying to.

My best advice is to contact your Vanderbilt admissions counselor. She or he can help you with both of these matters.

I have reached out to him several times with absolutely no response since after Christmas.

I am really sorry to hear that, and I’d like to help. Please have your daughter email me at jay.watson@vanderbilt.edu with her name and date of birth and I will get this to an admissions officer in our office who can answer her questions.

We just found out there was a glitch in ordering SAT scores from College Board and my son’s scores were not sent. His ACT was sent on time. Just rush ordered SAT. Is it too late now for his application to be reviewed for admission? He applied RD. Thanks!

Thank you for the question. We will review the application with the material we have — if the SAT scores arrive before we review the application, then they will be included. If not, we will review with the ACT scores that have been sent in. Thank you.
