Hi Jay! I was wondering if all of the decisions were ready at 5:00. I still haven’t received my decision, and it has been an hour and a half. Should I be concerned?

Thanks for the question. All students who applied through Early Decision should be able to view their admissions decision through MyAppVU. You will not receive a new email with the decision. If you’re having trouble viewing your decision through your MyAppVU portal, email myappvu@vanderbilt.edu for help. Please let me know if you need any other help!

Hi I see that you admissions statistics state: “Percent of students who received one or more significant honors or held major leadership positions: 100%” – Can you give examples of “significant honors”? Would it be NMSF?

Good question. Significant honors and major leadership positions can come from a wide range of activities. Examples include major academic achievements like becoming a National Merit Semifinalist, being an athletic team captain or wining a state or national championship, winning a state level award for fine arts or music, becoming an Eagle Scout or earning a Girl Scout Gold Award, and many others.
