Hi! I was just admitted and would just like to ask if all merit scholarships have been awarded already? I was being considered for the Seigenthaler scholarship but never heard back. Thank you!

Were all recipients of merit aid notified already? Thank you so much.

Thanks for your question. Yes, notifications for all merit scholarships have sent to students who received merit aid.

Congratulations to the lucky few. Those not going to Vandy will do well at another great college.
The SAT numbers for Vandy are miscalculated though. The Harvard middle 50 score is 1410 to 1590. The Vandy middle 50 SAT is about 1350 to 1530, NOT the 1490 to 1600 number in the Vandy press release.

Alan, you’re right – our applicants who are going elsewhere will
certainly do well. As I said in the post, it is a very talented group.
The middle 50 statistics can be confusing. In this post,
we are listing the statistical profile of our admitted students. You may see
other numbers reported about enrolled students, enrolled first-year students,
or Early Decision admitted students. You can see some of these other numbers at https://admissions2025.vanderbilt.edu/profile/.
