A Much Needed Thanksgiving Break!
Nov. 27, 2012—Thanksgiving time is always a great break from college life where I get a chance to spend a whole week back on Long Island, putting off my worries about finals for a bit. After midterms and papers during early November, Thanksgiving break provides a much needed time to recharge. My flights for this break were...

Part 2 of the Epic Journey
Nov. 25, 2012—From Part 1…. Okay, fine…it wasn’t that epic. But imagine, place yourselves in my shoes…and Cassie’s: Target is a temple to convenience. It’s awesome to any first-timer. There was a Santa shaped teapot which I seriously considered getting. Anyway, on that note, we headed over to Loveless to retrieve my scarf from the clutches of...
Adventures of a Tuesday Night
Nov. 25, 2012—Last week, Dexy and I decided to go to Target to pick up a few things we needed. We eat oats by the bucketful (overnight oats are my absolute favorite!!) and so we obviously finished all of the ones my mom and I bought during family weekend. We had absolutely no idea how the night would unfold.
Thanksgiving Break Tales
Nov. 25, 2012—It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving Break is already over. A week away from Vandy has certainly been relaxing, but I am happy to be back.
It’s always fun to give thanks
Nov. 25, 2012—This past week was Thanksgiving break and I had a totally awesome time even though I wasn’t able to go home! That is one of the pitfalls of being an international student—since you live so far away, it is difficult to see your family during short-term breaks like Thanksgiving. But, that means that you can go home with friends (or in my case, my boyfriend) and get to experience the fun that is Thanksgiving in a different setting...
Black Friday Bonanza!
Nov. 24, 2012—Want to know a big secret? I’m not really a fan of Thanksgiving dinner. But I still look forward to the holiday… because of Black Friday!
Thanksgiving Break Coming to a Close

Missouri Loves Company
Nov. 23, 2012—The weekend before break I made the 7.5 hour drive to Columbia, Missouri for an ultimate frisbee tournament. The tournament was even more fun because both the men's and the women's teams went to compete.
Music Making
Nov. 22, 2012—This post coming to you fresh from the Yeh kitchen, as Mr. Turkey makes friends with his neighbors Butternut Squash, Carrot, and Potatoes in the Oven. Today I was practicing again. Such is the life. Anyways, I had the strangest feeling: the realization of the complete disconnect among the fingers of my left hand, which tapped the wire strings against the neck of my cello, and my right arm swinging back and forth like a pendulum- right, left, right left- and the noise which was just coming out of the wood. It was so bizarre.
Catch-Up with Victoria and Nathan: Chapter IV
Nov. 22, 2012—Today’s installment of the Catch-Up Chronicles comes to you on Thanksgiving, which is additionally my birthday this year. Yes, a day of much rejoicing–but don’t worry dear readers, I’ve still found time for you. In honor of the holidays, today’s post centers around some of the marvelous events involving food that have happened on campus...
Catch-Up with Nathan and Victoria: Chapter III
Nov. 22, 2012—Well, that was cathartic. Turns out blogging is really excellent for morale, especially when I can take events that have been weighing heavily on my long-term memory (I do use that memory for class and whatnot) and put them in the electronic memory bank known as Inside ‘Dores. That came out more Star Wars-ish than...
