Sep. 24, 2012—As Victoria said in part one of Race in Review, last Saturday we took on Challenge Nation. Going into the race, I was a firm believer of the "just have fun" attitude--my goal was to finish the race, and to have fun doing it.

A Beautiful Day at Centennial Park
Sep. 23, 2012—This weekend, I finally got the chance to check out the Musician's Corner free concert series. It turned out to be a beautiful day weather-wise and it was great to sit back and listen to music along with getting food from some of Nashville's food trucks.

Sep. 22, 2012—I know I’ve written before about my weekly outings to Dismas House, but I thought you all could use a reminder about this great service opportunity so near to campus. It’s definitely my favorite extracurricular activity, other than telling you all about my life through this blog. I also really missed it while abroad.

Sep. 21, 2012—This week, I decided that every day I would take a small study break and enjoy something uniquely offered at Vanderbilt. I'm going to be honest and say that I thought it would be difficult to find fun things to do every day. Is there really a Vanderbilt sponsored activity that I could enjoy every day? There is! And, if I were a betting girl, I'd bet that there would be everyday funtivities for you too!
A Night at the Symphony
Sep. 21, 2012—Last night I enjoyed a performance by the Nashville Symphony, thanks to SoundCheck, a program offered by the symphony center where college students can get tickets for $10.

Sep. 19, 2012—This morning I was feeling stressed about my biomechanics exam that was happening later that day, and I was worried that I wouldn't have time to go over everything that I needed to, as I am quite the crammer. However, my day instantly got 100x better when my friend texted me to let me know about free ice cream on Alumni Lawn!
