Kathryn Stockett at Vanderbilt
Nov. 22, 2011—I knew Vanderbilt was amazing at getting entertaining speakers to come to campus, but I couldn’t believe they got Kathryn Stockett, the author of the New York Times bestseller, The Help.
Vanderbilt Reunion
Nov. 22, 2011—I could not survive my week at home without a little Vanderbilt reunion. Most of friends from high school don’t get home until later in the week, so yesterday, I decided to spend the day with some of my Vanderbilt friends.
The Tree of Choices

Registration Woes
Nov. 20, 2011—Registration for the spring semester began about two weeks ago, prompting the semesterly panic among Vandy students as YES (the registration system) fails to provide that which we need. Nov. 20, 2011—10/10/11: For the past 3 days, I’ve essentially been my own pack mule, hauling my food, shelter, and clothing up and down the Blue Ridge Mountains. And oh! What a great 3 days it was!

Home Again for Some R and R
Nov. 19, 2011—I woke up this morning in my bed at home in Miami Beach. Thanksgiving is great for Vanderbilt students. Whereas most students have just Thursday and Friday off, we have the entire week. I will be home for nine days, so when I get back to Vanderbilt I will be fully refreshed for finals.
