Going Home (With my Roommate)

Tomorrow afternoon, I will be flying home to bright and sunny Florida. This time though, I am not going to my own home in Miami Beach. I’m going to Tampa with my roommate and together with her family, we will be driving to Gainesville for the Vandy/ Florida game.I could not be more excited for this weekend! I love my roommate’s family, I love my friends from high school that now go to the University of Florida, and I love Vandy football. Also, I am going to be staying with my cousin in Gainesville, who happens to be one of my very best friends.

I absolutely love every minute that I spend here at Vanderbilt. Even well into my sophomore year, I am still get that kid in a candy store feeling walking around this campus. But, sometimes, it is nice to get away from it all. I hope that this weekend will give me the break I need and recharge me enough to get through the three tests and final paper that I have between now and Thanksgiving!
