AOII Red Rose Ball

One fun perk of being in a sorority is having a formal—an excuse to dress up, go out to dinner, and dance with all your friends. Alpha Omicron Pi had our formal last night, and since it was so much fun, I figured I’d share a little about it.

My friend Jason and I met a big group for dinner at P.F. Chang’s on West End. It had been a while since I’d had Chinese food that wasn’t greasy delivery, so that was delicious of course. We walked to the sorority house and boarded a bus that took us to the party venue, which had been a surprise. I still don’t actually know where we went exactly, but it was a really cool penthouse across from Hard Rock Cafe. Half was indoors with an old time photo booth and a dance floor, but there was also a big balcony that had a gorgeous view of downtown Nashville and Music Row. The music was great and all the new members were presented roses (we’re officially sisters now since we had Initiation last week)! All of my sisters looked great and I had so much “getting down on Friday” with them!

Oh, and I forgot to mention the one and only Seth Friedman was there with my friend Lauren Hinkle! They’re in the first picture with us!
