This isn’t really related to this post, but do you know if EDII results have any chance of coming out early?
I know EDI letters got sent out a day early so I was just curious.
Also have decisions already been made or are you still going through the applications?

Aimee: The latest possible mail date is February 15th. However, last year we mailed on February 6th. We will post on the blog as soon as ED II decisions are out the door. We have ED II committee on Friday, February 4th. After that we will need several days for letter checking and other administrative items.

Hi Kylie: how does National Merit Finalist process work? My son applied for a merit scholarship, and will learn in February if he is a National Merit Finalist. Do we update Vanderbilt – he did designate Vandy as first choice – and then what is the process of hearing back?

Chuck: Provided a National Merit Finalist selects Vanderbilt as their first choice by National Merit’s deadline, no further action is required on the part of the student. National Merit will include the student’s name on our roster.

    Hi Kylie,

I am an ED2 student and I was wondering if decisions could possibly be mailed out next week (the week of Feb 7)?

    Thanks!

Nicole: At present it looks as if ED II letters will mail either February 11th (Friday) or February 14th (Monday). Keep checking our blog for updates.

I submitted my Cornelius Scholarship App in December. I never received a confirmation email though? Does it mean it never went through? Because after I submitted the app, it said “Thank you for applying” or something like that. Thanks
