Does Vandy require 1st quarter grades of its ED applicants?
October 24th, 2008
No we do not require them to be sent in, although many students will do this on their own. Thanks for the question.

For one of last year’s posts about early decision it said:
“you should ask your guidance counselor to mail your first quarter grades to us so that we can see how you are performing so far in your senior coursework. Office policy requires us to obtain first quarter grades for all applicants, so help us out and have those sent to us.”
1)So, has the policy changed this year and will you not be required to obtain 1st quarter grades, or were you just saying that we are personally not required to send them and the admissions office will obtain them themselves?
2)Are 1st quarter grades considered in the application review if they are not sent by the student?
