Do you have any stats for the profile of admitted RD applicants.
Thank you

Not yet, we’re actually still working through the applications in committee. We’ll have some stats to share after we mail next week. Thanks for the question.

In the post about early decision letters being mailed you said all letters come in small envelopes. Is that true also for regular decision mailings?
Thanks!

Regular decision acceptance letters come in the big envelopes (like the one you see being prepped with the “Congratulations” label) and they are sent priority mail. Also keep in mind that small envelopes could signify a waitlist offer.
Nice Jack Johnson reference btw.

Hmmm… apparently some people got their decisions today! Does this mean you’re ahead of schedule?

Also, I heard that only minorities got their decisions today…Is that true, and if it is what is the point of doing that? Is it only acceptance letters that have been sent, or have rejections been sent as well?

Any stats on ED II admits?

I’ve also heard that some acceptances were delivered. Will the rest of the letters be sent sooner than the 27th?

By the way, I love the title of this post. Ever seen Dave Chapelle’s skit imitating Lil’ John?

ahh! I am so afraid. What if the package is thin, and there is no Congratulations on it… I might cry while I am going back home. Oh, but there might be a waitlist offer. So I think I should open and see what is inside before I cry. Right?

I don’t think I can wait any longer! Vanderbilt is my first choice and until recently I hadn’t even considered that I might not get in, since April 1 felt so far away. I even checked the mailbox yesterday…after I had already gotten the mail earlier that same day. And trust me–I know the mailman only comes once a day. One can be hopeful, right?

Hey guys,
All good questions. We did send out invitations for our MOSAIC program which did include an early acceptance letter for some students of color in our applicant pool. Check James’ post on Feb 28 for the full deal on that.
As for the ED stats, I include some in my Feb 14 post, so check that out.
I’ll try and check in a couple of times this week to keep you all up on how things are coming along. It’s going to be a busy week at 2305 West End Ave.
And yes, Dave Chappelle is, for the record, hilarious. Don’t you like popsicles?

Grace Potter rules. I can’t wait for her to deafen us on Alumni Lawn.
