I’m so nervous and scared but I’m glad to know that the decision letter comes in small envelope…I would freak out if I didn’t know.
Thank-you for this blog 🙂 Good luck to all ED applicants.

I’m not sure if you can answer this question, but what was the acceptance rate for early decision I this year?
December 15th, 2007
I hope those letters come quickly 🙂
December 15th, 2007
well the ED acceptance rate last year was 40%.. they got 30% more ED applicants this year so it probably dropped to the 30-35% range

What about for international students? It says on the website that the Admissions staff would send an email?
December 16th, 2007
well the commons house less people than the incoming class last year had; there are 100 less spots in the freshmen class. They’re shrinking the student body, they want to become a better ranked school. I can’t get in

Hi all,
To the question about ED notification of international students; emails were sent yesterday at around 3:30 pm CST. If you should have any questions, let us know.

is anyone else still waiting for THE letter? i’m in nj and anxious!

My friend and I both received rejection letters, what is going on at the admissions office? We were both in top 5% of our class, one of us receieved only 1 B, the other no B’s, low 700’s on the SAT scores. Something is wrong!

to the above poster – can you post on collegeconfidential.com?

It’s a shame colleges have become so competitive with who can have the lowest acceptance rates. It’s not fair to the students.
December 19th, 2007
i was just wondering what the acceptance rate was for this year’s ED pool?
December 22nd, 2007
can you tell me how the SAT writing is weighted?
thanks
