‘College Life’
Signing Day
Feb. 26, 2013—I cannot believe that I forgot to blog about this- but better late than never, I suppose. A few weeks ago was national signing day. This day has never really been a big deal here because Vanderbilt is not known for contending and signing big-name recruits. This year, however, was different.
The Weekend That Keeps On Giving
Feb. 24, 2013—Hello folks! I apologize for my long-term absence. The bar is higher this semester all around—so I had to make sure my FIRST BLOG POST OF 2013 is/was the best thing you have ever read, which means I had to step up my game in the “living life” department. And it goes a little something...
Midterms
Feb. 24, 2013—With just one week before spring break, midterm season is upon us. I have two exams this week and a project due, but compared to some of my friends, I suppose I got off easy. Here is the short list of things standing between me and my beautiful family in sunny Miami Beach.
Getting Domestic
Feb. 21, 2013—This week, I actually had two midterms. They were in my easier classes, so I had some free time, but I was feeling a little anxious. I decided it was time to bake. At home, I cook and bake almost every day. I absolutely love it. But, while at school because I don't have a kitchen of my own, I often forget to do what I love. This week, I was determined to relieve some stress and remember to do what I love.
Mardi Gras
Feb. 14, 2013—I know what you're thinking. A college student at Mardi Gras cannot be constructive. I am here to dispel those preconceived notion, as I went to Mardi Gras and survived.
A Senior Recital
Feb. 12, 2013—This past Saturday, I went to a vocal Senior Recital at Blair. I am an A&S student, through and through, so I had no idea that Senior Recitals even existed. I figured I would enlighten you guys, so we can all be a little more knowledgable about the smallest of Vanderbilt's schools.
Opportunities Abound
Feb. 12, 2013—There’s something you should know, dear Inside ‘Dores readers. One of my potential life career goals is to be a full-time blogger. I realize it’s not the most attainable or realistic of goals, but this week I came one step closer. Through a really awesome opportunity here at Vanderbilt, master blogger Nathan and myself now...
Life as I know it.
Feb. 12, 2013—Well, it’s been quite some time since you all have heard from me. This post aims to serve two purposes: 1. to prove that I have not, in fact, fallen off the face of the earth, and 2. give you a glimpse of my life as a second semester junior. My heart skipped a beat...
‘ Weekend
Feb. 12, 2013—Normally AOII has a Dad’s Weekend in the fall and Mom’s Weekend in the spring, but this year we decided to group them together and have Parents’ Weekend. Since Knoxville is only three hours away, both my parents were able to visit me this weekend and it was just what I needed.
Group Projects Galore
Feb. 5, 2013—Perhaps you remember my group projects from various semesters. This semester continues to have a plethora of unique projects--and over my many group projects, I've found some common threads. Consider this your official group project guide.
A Day in the Life of Eileen
Feb. 4, 2013—Okay I don’t want to scare anyone because this was an unusually busy day, but it was also a fun and unique one I’d like to share.
The Blogging Baking Buddies Bonanza Bash!
Jan. 29, 2013—Isn’t that just the best title? I can’t take full credit, for I was accompanied by my ally in alliteration (Ann) in crafting it. Today, I tell you a lovely tale of three bloggers coming together to craft some delicious delicacies. The backstory: Ann and I were tasked with making Sweet Sundays for the BCM...
