A Senior Recital
Feb. 12, 2013—This past Saturday, I went to a vocal Senior Recital at Blair. I am an A&S student, through and through, so I had no idea that Senior Recitals even existed. I figured I would enlighten you guys, so we can all be a little more knowledgable about the smallest of Vanderbilt's schools.
‘ Weekend
Feb. 12, 2013—Normally AOII has a Dad’s Weekend in the fall and Mom’s Weekend in the spring, but this year we decided to group them together and have Parents’ Weekend. Since Knoxville is only three hours away, both my parents were able to visit me this weekend and it was just what I needed.

Jan. 24, 2013—In mid-January, the Blair School of Music hosts its annual Concerto Competition. The stakes? Endless practicing. The prize? A chance to solo with the Vanderbilt Orchestra.
Art in the Vandy Bubble
Nov. 12, 2012—I am not creative or artistic in any way. But, that's ok! I can still get my fill of the performing arts here on campus. This weekend, I saw Taming of the Shrew, played Drag Queen Bingo and saw Later That Same Evening.

Nov. 5, 2012—Last weekend I got to take a trip to Chicago to visit one of my best friends! I’d only been to Chicago once before and I hadn't really had time to explore it thoroughly, so I was super-excited!

Sep. 26, 2012—I had been raving about the annual Farm to Fork dinner to my friends, checking the Common Place website since the beginning of the year to make sure I didn't miss the RSVP and badgering them all to sign up for this no-caloric-regrets-because-it-is-just-that-good meal.
Blair Concert the First
Sep. 17, 2012—I'm not good at estimating, so I'll safely guess between 30 and 8,000 people showed up for Blair's first concert. But actually, Ingram was absolutely packed. Not even when Audra McDonald or the Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet came was there an audience such as this. Apparently, people even had to listen to and watch the concert from the lobby telly, it was so full! Success! People finally realizing and taking advantage of the free Blair concerts!
All Aboard!
Sep. 8, 2012—In my last post, I talked a ridiculous amount about food, mostly because school hadn't yet pinned me to my desk or a seat in the Biomed Library, which I fondly refer to as the Eskimo building. Eskind and Eskimo are similar, okay?
All Moved In and Ready to Go
Aug. 20, 2012—Just a few minutes ago, I said good-bye to my parents as they dropped me off for my junior year. It’s been a whirlwind couple of days, but I am just about settled into my new room.
