Jan. 31, 2014—One of the greatest debates I had with myself when I got in was about how religious this university is, and whether it will be awkward not to be religious on campus. Vanderbilt is a secular university, not affiliated with any religion or denomination. On campus, we have complete freedom to participate in any religious...

The Final 100 Days

Jan. 31, 2014—Well, just like that, January is just about over, and, today marks only 100 days left until graduation. I am in denial, and I would say that most of my friends are right there with me. Jan. 9, 2014—One of the biggest struggles at the beginning of each semester is getting all of your new textbooks. This process is expensive, time-consuming, and difficult, especially if you don't know exactly which classes you are going to keep. You definitely don't want to buy them too early or too late. Buying your textbooks is like saying your vows: "til death do us part, class, because I have spent $50 on this book for you"...

I went bowling!

Jan. 7, 2014—This past Saturday, my sister and I met up with some of my friends in Birmingham, AL to watch the Commodores take on the University of Houston Cougars at the BBVA Compass Bowl.
