The HOD Internship Experience
May. 2, 2014—If you, dear reader, eventually find yourself in the same position as me (a stunningly attractive junior or senior in the Human and Organizational Development program at Vandy), then you will be required to complete an HOD Internship. The HOD Internship is a capstone project of sorts for HOD majors, during which students apply the organizational concepts they've learned in class in a real-world setting, a semester-long full-time internship.
Reminiscing About My ASBreak
Apr. 30, 2014—This post is super late, but I have to keep up the tradition of blogging about my spring break! This year, I participated in Alternative Spring Break (ASB) for my third year. This year my destination was Detroit, MI.
Out of My Comfort Zone…
Apr. 29, 2014—…and into the School of Engineering! This semester, as I’ve mentioned before, I took Computer Science 101: Programming and Problem Solving, with Victoria and our friend Shilpa. This introductory course is based in the Java programming language–so we’ve learned a whole lot about that, as well as general problem solving skills that could be put...
“Meat” Ya in Centennial Park
Apr. 28, 2014—My favorite thing about today was that whenever someone asked me, "What have you been up to?", I got to respond with, "I went to a MEAT festival." They would stare at me blankly as if I'd said something so wrong. Or maybe just something SO RIGHT.
Go Nuts for Doughnuts
Apr. 27, 2014—Two weekends ago, it was SEVENTY degrees in Chicago. I know, I couldn't believe it myself. Enter DOUGHNUT CRAWL.

Apr. 27, 2014—Tips and advice gained from my ongoing quest to be productive amidst way too much perfect weather, too many exciting events, and so many wonderful people.
Student Health for Dummies
Apr. 26, 2014—This semester I have been sick and injured so often that I feel as if student health has become my home away from Cole. However, that means I have learned a great deal about Vanderbilt's medical care for students to share with y'all...
One down, three to go
Apr. 21, 2014—Today was my last day of class as a Vanderbilt first year student, and while I still have finals to get through, I can’t help but take a quick glimpse back at this year. I have enjoyed every minute of everyday even when it was hard, even when I stayed up late working on an...
Meloroo 2014
Apr. 19, 2014—The following is a co-written post by bloggers Caitlyn and me (Victoria). We’ve just returned from Saturday night’s Melodores concert. It was, of course, fantastic! There are not one, but two, bloggers in the Melodores– Nathan and Rani. Since this is Nathan’s senior (and consequently last) show and he is insanely busy, we decided to...
Speaking to My Soul
Apr. 18, 2014—Just a sampling of some of the incredible speakers I have had the opportunity to see here at Vanderbilt this semester. Highlighted here are Gen. Colin Powell, Courtney Martin, and Josh Radnor.
Its Spring Time
Apr. 14, 2014—There is only one proper way to know if it truly is Spring time and it doesn't involve staring at a Grounhog to know when its time. No, there's a much better way. Spring Football. Obviously, if there is an event called SPRING football, it must signify that it is Spring time. This past weekend, we officially started Spring.
