Our Parents Come to Visit… A Week Before School Ends?!
May. 3, 2012—A short re-cap of our parents short visit to Nashville this past weekend. We are going to be home in a few days, but our parents came into town so our mom could run the Country Music Marathon.
Running Your Problems Away
May. 3, 2012—Last Saturday (April 28th), I ran my first half-marathon! Nashville is home to the Rock n Roll Nashville Marathon (which benefits St. Jude’s) each spring, and a small group of ROTC cadets, myself included, volunteered to run on behalf of the department.
A Farewell Game

Climbing in France
May. 2, 2012—Luckily for me, while abroad I have been able to continue with my (slightly-obsessive) hobby of rock-climbing while abroad. At Vanderbilt, I participate in both Wilderness Skills and the Outdoor Recreation Program, which allow me easy-access to all things outdoors…but here, it has been a bit more difficult.
Dinner with a French Family
May. 2, 2012—This semester, I have gone Monday through Thursday nights to have dinner with two other Vanderbilt students and a French family, the Bachs. The two other girls, Mallory and Chloe, and I meet up and walk to the Bachs’ house together where we enjoy 4-6 course authentic French meals and get to practice our French...
