Kappa Kappa Weekend
Oct. 27, 2013—With 3 papers, a feature in the newspaper, a quiz, and a screenplay due, this week would’ve been busy on its own, but add Kappa Kappa Gala and Glow Kappa to it, and it was MAYHEM.
Nashvilley Lunch at Whole Foods
Oct. 27, 2013—Last Sunday, CityVU planned another private Whole Foods cooking class sponsored by Vanderbilt Programming Board. We had three classes of twenty students each. The class was completely free and the best part (in my opinion) was getting to eat the food that we made!
The Music (Wo)man
Oct. 26, 2013—After the fun and excitement that was Commodore Quake, I was a little bummed out thinking that my music-related activities would be over for a while, but BOY was I wrong! In the last month alone I’ve been to three shows, gotten two backstage passes, interviewed four different artists, and have had tons of stuff...

Why Vanderbilt: A Musician’s Perspective, Part 1
Oct. 22, 2013—Usually at the end of sophomore year, when we have to choose our majors, we hit a wall. We figuratively hit it really hard. We come to that point where we ask ourselves the academic existentialist question, "Why am I in school?" For me, specifically, it was the question, "What I am doing.... as a musician?"
Let Them Eat Cake
Oct. 22, 2013—Yesterday was a great day due to the fact that I got free cake not once, but twice! If I haven't said it enough, I love sugar, so I'm all over the scene when there is free dessert. When I got two emails yesterday telling me that there would be free cake for biomedical engineers and at my sorority, I was really excited and naturally went to both.
Written in the Stars
Oct. 22, 2013—We did it. On Saturday, the Vanderbilt Commodores defeated the Georgia Bulldogs in an exciting 31-27 win.
How To: Complete Your Application
Oct. 21, 2013—This may sound like the simplest part of the process, but it is arguably the most important. Follow these steps to make sure your application is successfully submitted.
All About Frisbee
Oct. 20, 2013—I realized while I tend to blog a lot about my life on the frisbee field, everyone might not understand the rules and thus appreciate how AWESOME ultimate frisbee truly is. The rules took me a while to understand (and they are constantly changing, which isn't exactly helpful) but once you get it, the sport becomes so much more fun. So here's an elementary explanation of the most important rules. Let's start with the basics.
