1. You reduced the class size.
2. You waitlisted 25% more applicants this year than last year.
3. You (We) try to humanize this experience, because it’s very emotional and stressful for the students and families.
4. Am I missiong something?

Don’t blame em. This was a really uncertain year in admissions, with a bunch of top schools changing their early admission policies/financial aid policies. They had to play it safe.

Yeah, I guess it is because they admitted so many students last year. It is better to be careful of choosing applicants after this experience.

I hope they let us know as soon as they start calling so we can finally give up hope. It is miserable to keep thinking about what if I get in somewhere. Waitlisted at 4 schools.

Any updates in the wait list situation? I’m getting anxious!

Where is Doug Christiansen? Is he reading the blog? If they want to humanize the experience, why don’t they share the data?
